Crystal Glass
Crystal Glass is a type of glass that is made using silica sand, soda ash, limestone, and coke. These ingredients are heated together until they melt and then cool down slowly. The result is a clear glass that is strong enough to withstand high temperatures without breaking. Crystal glass was first created in 1851 by Sir Henry Bessemer who wanted to make a stronger glass than what had been produced before. He discovered that if he added carbon to the molten mixture, the resulting glass would have a higher melting point and could withstand much higher temperatures. After his discovery, many people began experimenting with different types of glass. Today, crystal glass is still being manufactured but not nearly as often as it once was. In the manufacturing of glasses, crystal glass is also known as lead glass.

There are many different kinds of crystal glass. One of the most popular types of crystal glass is Pyrex. It was invented in 1892 and is still being manufactured today. Pyrex is a brand name for crystal glass. Other brands of crystal glass include Corning Ware, Royal Crown Cola, and Tumbler.
Physical Properties of Crystal Glass
The first thing that people notice about crystal glass is its transparency. Because it is transparent, it lets light pass through easily. This makes it perfect for windows and mirrors. Another characteristic of crystal glass is that it does not break easily. If you drop something on crystal glass, it may crack, but it won't shatter. You might even be able to pick it up without breaking it.
Another property of crystal glass is how hard it is. Crystal glass is harder than regular glass. This means that if you hit something with it, it will likely leave a mark. If you want to clean crystal glass, you should use warm water and soap. Washing it with cold water could cause it to crack.
